Dear Rohan,

I’m curious your perspective on this topic: Do I use too many big words in everyday language? I’ve been reading about how the most intelligent people (and a personal favorite Richard Feynman) would be able to explain complex ideas in simple ways that let everyone in. Another is how Theo Sanderson, the creator of xkcd, wrote a whole article on how rockets work using only the 1000 most common words in English. I think that is called up-goer because the words rocket and ship don’t fall into the top 1000. But back to the genesis of this letter, I’d love to hear your thoughts on it.
