Dear Rohan,

Why do I feel that the more I learn to interact with others and expand my social circle, I stumble upon two things. Everyone is human; there are no hermetically sealed souls. And yet I still find individuals whom I have no interest in even forming an acquaintancal bond.

But enough about that. I wanted to talk about how nights has been going with your old group. I understand why you enjoyed your time in the process monitoring group at Cedar. The characters are entertaining while still getting work done, a combination that you can’t help but revel the moments where you’re with them.

Nights haven’t been hard, once you step through the looking glass you adapt pretty quickly. Plus having a good blackout curtain or face mask makes sleeping during the day a cinch. And the benefit of not much upper management means you can focus on doing the work and not have to worry about politics or reporting every little detail.

But I’m wanting to hear from you. How’s been the new position? Consulting is a different beast and I’m curious in your short time so far what has been your impressions.
